Why it is useful
SigNoz is built on OpenTelemetry, so instrumenting an app once gives you metrics, distributed tracing, and log correlation together instead of stitching together separate tools. Self-hosting avoids Datadog's per-host and data-ingestion pricing, which becomes a major cost driver at scale.
