Why it is useful

More curated than clicking randomly in Google Maps — locations are selected to be visually interesting or geographically representative, and the guided tours add context. The exploration mode is genuinely meditative: 20 minutes wandering through Mongolian steppe or Japanese mountain towns with no objective.
