typehere.app
A distraction-free online typewriter with mechanical key sounds, an aged paper aesthetic, and no save button — everything you type exists only in the moment and disappears when you close the tab.
Why it is useful
Solves a specific creative writing problem: the blank page feels less intimidating when you cannot edit what you have already written. The typewriter sounds and visual aesthetic shift your mindset from drafting to free-writing. Useful for morning pages, thought dumps, or breaking through writer's block — knowing the text won't be saved removes the pressure to write well.
