The Noun Project
thenounproject.com
Library of over 5 million royalty-free icons and stock photos contributed by designers worldwide, covering even obscure concepts commercial sets miss.
Why it is useful
The community model has produced an icon library so comprehensive it includes niche concepts that paid sets don't cover. The NounCreator app lets you commission custom icons at a flat rate, filling gaps the existing library doesn't address.
