SVGOMG
jakearchibald.github.io/svgomg
A visual frontend for SVGO that optimizes SVG files in the browser — stripping metadata bloat and reducing file size with live preview.
SVGOMG brings a clean toggle-based interface to the SVGO optimization engine, letting designers strip editor metadata, comments, and unnecessary path data from SVG exports. A live side-by-side preview and real-time file size readout show exactly what each optimization toggle costs visually.
Why it is useful
SVG exports from Illustrator and Figma are routinely 3 to 10 times larger than they need to be, packed with editor metadata no browser ever uses. SVGOMG hands you surgical control over exactly what gets stripped, with instant visual feedback — no command-line setup, no npm install, just paste and optimize.
