One of the fastest vector databases available for production workloads, with native support for hybrid sparse-dense search that improves retrieval quality over pure embedding search. Runs as a Docker container with a clean REST API, and the Rust implementation means low memory overhead even with large collections. Good choice when Chroma's in-process simplicity isn't enough for your scale.
