Pointer Pointer

Move your mouse cursor anywhere on screen and it finds a photograph of someone pointing at exactly that spot.
Pointer Pointer is a small, funny web experiment. As you move your mouse around the page, it shows you a photograph of a person pointing at exactly where your cursor is. There are a great many photos, so wherever you put the pointer, someone seems to be pointing straight at it.
It is a quick, silly demo of what a clever idea and a big photo set can do, and it works on desktop browsers where a cursor is available. Nothing to sign up for, and it is easy to waste a few minutes trying to catch it out.
Why it is useful
A masterpiece of purposeless internet art — the site has collected thousands of photographs of people pointing and maps cursor position to the most appropriate one. It does nothing useful and is completely impossible to stop playing with.
