DeepSeek
chat.deepseek.com
Free AI chatbot with strong reasoning and coding capabilities, built on DeepSeek's R1 and V3 models — competitive with leading frontier models.
Why it is useful
DeepSeek offers genuinely frontier-level reasoning and coding assistance completely free with no account required. The R1 model shows its step-by-step thinking process, which is useful for learning how it approaches complex problems. Regularly outperforms paid alternatives on coding benchmarks.
