DaFont
dafont.com
A long-running archive of fonts submitted by designers, browsable by style such as script, gothic, fancy or bitmap.
Why it is useful
A good source of display and decorative fonts that are hard to find elsewhere. Check each font's licence before use, since many are free for personal use only and some allow commercial use.
